Muestra sobre centenario del Bauhaus abre sus puertas en MNBA

Hace 100 años, en Alemania nació un movimiento arquitectónico-pedagógico que redefinió el enfoque de la arquitectura hasta entonces, dotándola de sentido social como parte de su estética.
En Chile, celebramos el centenario del Bauhaus, como se le conoce a este revolucionario cambio de paradigma, con la exposición Hito Centenario BAUHAUS, muestra que permanecerá de manera gratuita hasta el mes de marzo. Volcán, empresa nacional líder en el mercado de soluciones constructivas participa como auspiciador de esta exhibición en honor al siglo de la revolución que redefinió la arquitectura al servicio de las personas.
“Como auspiciadores de la muestra, comprendemos que el principio más fundamental del Bauhaus es entender el diseño como un proyecto social, y en Volcán nos identificamos plenamente con ese valor, pues nuestras soluciones constructivas están pensadas desde su funcionalidad tanto operativa como estética, para que la aplicación de la aislación y el revestimiento sean un elemento integral que contemple el diseño y técnica en un solo producto”, afirma Ricardo Fernández, Gerente Técnico y Desarrollo Sostenible de Volcán.
Organizado por La Fundación Instituto de Difusión de la Arquitectura IDDEA -creada en 2013 por la Asociación de Oficinas de Arquitectos de Chile, AOA-, la celebración del siglo desde la creación del Bauhaus en Alemania marca a generaciones de arquitectos que se educaron bajo el nuevo paradigma que la escuela del Bauhaus impuso en la década de 1920, y del manifiesto que plasmó la revolución arquitectónica que definió al siglo 20. “Creemos juntos la nueva estructura del futuro, en que todo constituirá un solo conjunto, arquitectura, plástica, pintura”, lee el extracto del manifiesto en 100 caracteres, que formará parte de la exposición donde se exhibirán 100 piezas que, en formato lineal, representarán el centenario del Bauhaus, desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad.
El Bauhaus no se puede percibir en su plenitud solo a través de imágenes. Para comprender bien la transgresión que significó este movimiento en sus inicios, es necesario experimentarlo con todos los sentidos y no solo ver, sino que oír y apreciar volúmenes y dimensiones.
Por eso, la muestra estará compuesta por instalaciones, cada una de las cuales contará con un guión temático, además del apoyo de paneles informativos, módulos audiovisuales con entrevistas y películas originales, junto con presentaciones e incluso un seminario. En Volcán creemos que es importante mantener el discurso del Bauhaus vigente, ya que este movimiento abrió la discusión para un mundo diferente.
La exhibición cuenta con todas las medidas de seguridad sanitaria correspondientes a las indicaciones de las autoridades de salud y está en línea con las fases del plan Paso a Paso, permaneciendo abierta al público respetando el aforo y las medidas sanitarias correspondientes y siempre y cuando la fase de control sanitario en la comuna de Santiago así lo permita.
