Nivel de aceite del motor: “Si el motor está en buen estado, gastará muy poco aceite entre un cambio y el siguiente. Sin embargo, es muy importante comprobar que el nivel del aceite no baje de la marca mínima”, señala el especialista.
Cambio de aceite: debido a la alta exigencia que tienen los lubricantes para motocicletas, es fundamental cambiarlo regularmente, con el fin de que se encuentre en óptimas condiciones. La recomendación es utilizar el tipo de lubricante recomendado para el motor de la moto. El aceite del motor debe presentar cualidades anti-desgaste, anti-corrosión y anti-herrumbre. Los aditivos detergentes del aceite también deben permanecer inalterados con la temperatura, evitando la formación de depósitos dentro del motor.
Cadena de transmisión. La mayoría de las motocicletas tienen transmisión por cadena a la rueda trasera. Esta debe estar bien lubricada y no tener demasiada holgura. La cadena se revisa y lubrica durante cada revisión de la motocicleta para su buen funcionamiento.
