Artesanías de Chile trae a Casacostanera toda la identidad y magia chilota.
Podrás empaparte de su cultura, comprar los mejores productos artesanos y conocer a sus cultores en familia.
El mejor panorama familiar es Chiloé Mítico, la gran muestra chilota que se llevará a cabo del 23 al 26 de agosto en Casacostanera (3er Nivel). Adquirir productos originales de la isla, participar junto a tus hijos y amigos en talleres y charlas, y aprender a confeccionar productos de la mano de sus artesanos creadores, son algunos de los atractivos que encontrarás en esta muestra que trae consigo lo mejor del archipiélago.
¿CÓMO LLEGA CHILOÉ A CASACOSTANERA?
Desde hace 16 años la Fundación Artesanías de Chile trabaja para acercar la artesanía a todos los chilenos: selecciona a los mejores cultores, difunde su trabajo y lo comercializa para dar larga vida a sus oficios, tradiciones ligadas a la cultura propia de cada territorio que guardan la verdadera identidad de nuestro país.
Uno de esos rincones, riquísimo en tradición artesana e identidad, es el archipiélago de Chiloé. Y un pedazo de esa cultura es lo que la Fundación Artesanías de Chile traerá al 3er Nivel de Casacostanera del 23 al 26 de agosto.
QUÉ ENCUENTRAS EN CHILOÉ MÍTICO:
Una selección de la mejor artesanía representativa de la isla, elaborada por artesanos en madera, lana y fibra vegetal: textil de Chiloé y del Seno de Reloncaví -alfombras, choapinos, bajadas de cama-, cestería en manila, quilineja y boqui; piezas de madera como candados chilotes, bicicletas y embarcaciones a escala. La tienda Mundo Rural de Indap también ofrecerá una variedad de productos gourmet de origen chilote.
Además de stands con venta de artesanía, el evento incluye un programa cultural que contempla actividades que sensibilicen a los visitantes con el patrimonio cultural del archipiélago, a través del contacto directo con artesanas, materias primas y técnicas de trabajo. A ello se suman dos conversatorios, donde los visitantes podrán aprender y comprender sobre la cultura material e inmaterial de Chiloé.
Los visitantes podrán recorrer una exposición de artesanía tradicional chilota: 15 piezas representativas del mundo textil, de la cestería, la cultura de la madera y el tallado en piedra de cancagua.
Una programación amplia, que conjuga actividades familiares y para niños.

NELLY ALARCÓN, INVITADA ESPECIAL La gran invitada a este evento será Nelly Alarcón, quien a fines de los años 60 puso a Chiloé en el mapa de la moda cuando diseñó abrigos y vestidos con sabanilla, la tela que las artesanas chilotas tejían para hacer frazadas y alfombras. Con ellas se convirtió en un ícono del diseño autóctono chileno e incluso llamó la atención del diseñador italiano Pierre Cardin. A sus 85 años sigue creando: a Chiloé Mítico traerá 10 piezas originales que tendrá a la venta, además de una exhibición de algunos de sus afamados diseños.

Artesanía chilota para crear Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de trabajar con artesanas del archipiélago, experimentando con distintas técnicas y materias primas traídas desde Chiloé, con las que podrán materializar sus propias creaciones. Los oficios a trabajar son los siguientes:

Tejido a palillo La artesana Fresia Barría (Quemchi) enseña a los participantes la técnica del tejido a palillo chilote.Cestería en manilaLa artesana Dany Miranda (Isla de Llingua) enseña a los participantes el tejido de la manila.
Armado de patín chilote Los participantes aprenderán a armar un patín o bicicleta chilota en madera de ciruelillo.
